After-School Programs
Nursery and Pre-Kindergarten Play Groups. Extended day programs for children attending nursery and pre-kindergarten are offered five days a week. Parents have the option of enrolling their children for two to five afternoons a week. The daily program varies and includes activities such as art and crafts, dramatic play, story time, outdoor play, nature walks, large motor activities in the Early Childhood Gym, lunch, and rest time. A teacher and an assistant supervise each group. The hours from Monday to Thursday are 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for nursery, and from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for pre-kindergarten. Dismissal on Friday is at 2:00 p.m. for all students. There is a separate fee for this program.

Kindergarten through Sixth Grade Extended Day. A variety of after-school classes are available for children in the fall, winter, and spring sessions. The extended day program dismisses at 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Children must be registered for the term to attend the classes. There is a separate fee for this program. Registration form and class descriptions can be found here. Our Extended Day Program begins on Monday, September 20, 2010 and it will end by Friday, May 20, 2011.
Late Day for First through Eighth Grade. After 3:00 p.m. dismissal, Monday through Thursday, a teacher is available in the library so that students may stay and complete homework assignments until 6:00 p.m. Students must give a permission note from their parents to the school office in the morning. Students must report immediately to the teacher in charge in the library. Parents must pick up their child in the library and sign the attendance sheet. There is a separate charge for this program. Late Day Study Hall begins on Monday, September 13, 2010 and it will end by Thursday, June 9, 2011.
Fantastic Friday is a program that is offered on specific Fridays for students in Grades K through 6 for crafts, games and fun, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. Drop-ins are welcomed. There is a separate fee for this program. To print out a registration form for the winter session please click here.
