Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month

Buckley was proud to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at its weekly assembly for students in grades K-8. The theme of the assembly was Diversity in Hispanic Countries and focused on the overall diversity of Hispanic countries, as well as the diversity of people within each country and ethnic group. The presentations included information from the eighth graders about immigration waves and the impact of population movements.

As always, there was music and dance: Dr. Glennon and the Strings students played a Tango (HERE), and the fourth graders danced the Merengue (HERE).
