PA Events

Parents’ Association events include the following:

Scripta Picture Day (October 9) – Parent volunteers assist the Buckley staff and yearbook photographer with student photo shoots.

The Fall Fair (October 19-21) – Buckley’s annual Fall Fair is a wonderful opportunity for every family to participate in a school event. Parents and their guests officially kick off the weekend with the “Fall Fair Kick-Off Party” on Friday night. Saturday and Sunday feature rides, games, crafts, and international food. Although the Fair is Buckley’s largest Parents’ Association fundraising event, its main purpose is to build community spirit among our families. Proceeds from the Fall Fair become part of our general operating budget.

Family Fun Night (February 8) –All students and their families come together to school for a family-like fun evening.

Book Fair (March 18-21) - This week-long fundraising event provides a wonderful opportunity to celebrate reading and purchase books selected by the faculty.

Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day (March 28) - Each year the Parents’ Association honors the faculty and staff.

Buckley Uniform Shoppe (Sept. 12 and June 4) – Gently used uniforms are made available on this day. Parents may bring in uniforms for exchange or donate outgrown uniforms.

Parents' Association

The Parents’ Association works through the Development Office with Stephanie Long, the Assistant Director of Development for Parents’ Association and Special Events, to foster parent involvement through a series of friendraising and fundraising events. Every Buckley parent is a member of this essential group and is encouraged to volunteer and attend regularly scheduled meetings throughout the school year
